Incredible, authentic recipes passed down the family straight from Italy. Everytime I've been there I'm treated just like family. This is my favorite stop every time I'm back in town. Highly recommended by friends and family. And I'd have to agree. Elisa's is a hidden gem. .

For the past (almost) 18 years, my husband and I have been enjoying delicious meals at Elisa's in Bellmore. From date nights, to special occasions such as Easter, family gatherings and celebrations, today was no different. I often hear folks talk about how some restaurants succumb to the rush of patrons for holidays and special occasions, such as Mother's Day, for various reasons (inadequate staffing, limited or too extensive of a menu, overbooking, etc.) and I, too, have been disappointed in the past. But not today. And frankly, not ever at Elisa's. Rocky, his brother and chef, Paolo, along with their parents run their restaurant as if it was their home, and you, their family. Today, although it was packed, we enjoyed our meals from drinks, to appetizers, entrees and desserts without the staff skipping a beat. Never did we have to flag down our waitress, ask for refills on drinks or the like. Rocky was present on the floor throughout our entire meal and pulled up a chair to speak with us for a quick spell while we waited for our desserts. With three children, one of whom has special needs, to be comfortable in an establishment on any given day is a gift. Our waitress even remembered our littlest fella's preference for parmesan cheese even though she hasn't been our waitress for quite some time. It really is the little things that make a meal memorable and an experience pleasurable. With that being said, Happy Mother's Day to all

Best Italian restaurant one can hope for! Been coming here 2-3 times weekly for 9 yrs. Food never disappoints. Wide variety of daily specials, as well as the regular menu which offers something for everybody. Staff is awesome; courteous, efficient, friendly, and eager to please. Once we discovered Elisa’s, there was no reason to go anywhere else for great Italian food. We were home!

I literally walked in the restaurant as they were unlocking the doors one Sunday. I explained to Rocky that my mom was in the hospital and was craving a bowl of tripe. A dish she made at home for all of us growing up. Without a hesitation in his voice Rocky said be back in a half hour and the tripe would be ready. Well when I walked in with the tripe moms eyes lit up. After the first bite the smile was from ear to ear. All though she only ate a few pieces seeing the smile on her face was priceless. Rocky and Paolo you guys made one of moms last days a happy one. Although I told you she was in the hospital she was really at home under hospice care. This is what it's all about a neighborhood restaurant run by good guys with family values. We frequent the restaurant often and have had a few gatherings there and have never left disappointed.

Moving from brooklyn to long island and finding good Italian food was tough. Untill I walked in to Elisas restuarant. Amazing staff and the food! you will never be dissatisfied with Elisas.

If you are looking for a great restaurant for a casual night out look no further than Elisa’s in Bellmore. The menu is diverse and they are willing to accommodate changes. The service is really outstanding. It is family owned and Chef Paolo will come out to make sure everything is perfect. Their Sunday Sauce is delicious, it will give your Grandma’s sauce a run for the money. They offer catering and are available for private parties too.

Had a wonderful time here with great friends. Everything was delicious. Fried calamari, zucchini fritti and beet salad appetizers were outstanding. Veal chop reminded us of the flintstones brontosaurus steak-it was huge and cooked to perfection! Lasagna was tasty as was the penne with scallops and chopped shrimp! Service was great and they didn’t rush us out! Will definitely come back for more!

Yes yes yes , every meal brings new surprise , the most fun and unbleavabe dishes , the specials , Love and care and more love makes the dishes passionate experiences , always a surprise , can’t wait to try the exotic dishes day coming , the only problem is I have 1 stomach and I get full - take out time
