Another great review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars) "Ate here for the first time with my family. This is a very warm and friendly establishment as the proprietors greet their customers and made them feel welcome. It also has a regular customer base, as there were a good amount of dinners many seemed to be regulars. Offering both in door and out door dining, all covid protocols were observed by the entire staff. Started off the meal with appetizers. The Vongole Oreganate(Baked Clams) were excellent. 8 to a plate they were well seasoned and had a great sauce that added to the flavor. This was coupled with Bruschetta al Pomodoro, which is grilled Italian bread and chopped tomato salad. The bread slices, about 6 disc toasted, lacked enough garlic to give it a garlic bread type taste. Unlike traditional buschetta the bread was larger, but turned out well because the chopped tomato was excellent and tasty. I used the sauce from the baked clams to give the pairing an extra taste touch. Sadly, not all of the entrees fared well. I enjoyed the Gamberoni Parmigiano which was breaded shrimp in tomato sauce with spaghetti as the pasta side. The sauce was tasteful but could have had some more seasoning if it supposed to be a home made sauce. The next entree was a steak with gargonzola cheese sauce, which was paired with penne Alfredo as the pasta side. The steak was supposed to medium but it was over cooked and it lacked any of the juice the would be created in the pan to give it more flavor. The cheese sauce was was amply applied to the plate which made it more like a gravy rather than a sauce addition. I would recommend that they should put this as a side and allow the diner to apply the amount they would like on their plate. The last dish was Spaghetti Con Polpettine, or spaghetti and meatballs. This was the most disappointing of all of the dishes. Which should never be in any Italian restaurant. The meat balls tasted bland and lacked basic seasoning. There were no breadcrumbs in the mix and they tasted like they were a no name brand from the supermarket. Seriously Ikea's Swedish meatballs edged this out need I say more. The owners mother did say that her son, the cook made them, but they need mom back in the kitchen to add the old world flavors and touch to their cooking. Overall, this is a good place to eat. Parking was easy as they have additional parking across the street. I would suggest their son the cook, take more tips from his elders on how to finesse his food flavorings in making their meals. The menu choices are good, but could use a few more additions especially with their appetizers. I would have liked to see some garlic bread as an option. Over all it is still a good dining choice for an meal." Sep 16, 2021 - Robert Linton (Google)
