Oct 1 2021 Google 5 Elisa’s restaurant is a hidden gem in the neighborhood of North Bellmore. Slightly hidden on North Jerusalem Road and next to a little auto repair shop called “Road Reedy”, with accessible parking for their patrons, and a huge parking lot right across from Elisa’s. From the moment we walked up, we were greeted by so many faces, it was as if we were a part of the family. The tents atmosphere was beautiful! The palm trees, the lights and the little table plants compliment the “al fresco” dining experience in a wonderful way! The tables are even separated far enough for any individual that is uncomfortable dining out! From the looks of it, Elisa’s seems to hit the nail right on the head when it comes to the quality of their food, the service, the dining experience and atmosphere/ambiance. They follow all protocols, rules and procedures for the safety of their customers, as well as giving above and beyond to make sure that everyone dining at the restaurant is enjoying the experience. The appetizers were fantastic that we tried, the fried calamari, baked clams, grilled portobello, whole roasted cauliflower and the beautifully done special Kale salad. The pastas were perfectly cooked with an absolutely delicious flavor! From the Alfredo cream sauce we tried, to the bolognese, we enjoyed every bit of those dishes! The entrees came and I couldn’t resist to taste test some of my families dishes… The Pork Chop San Mariano is outrageous, huge and delicious! The Penne Villa we tried was perfect, the sauce was a creamy silky smooth texture and the scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. I could go on and on about the other dishes, but its unnecessary unless you take that leap of faith and try it for yourself! I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the wonderful staff, food, culture, family oriented atmosphere, and the restaurant as a whole! I will surely be back as much as I can, and I definitely passed the word on that Elisa’s is a wonderful family ran Italian restaurant which deserves all the hype that it gets! Thank you so much for the unbelievable dining experience and to the fantastic staff that made things so simple and easy, we will surely be back so we can try everything on the menu and all the specials you have to offer daily!

Sep 30 2021 Yelp 5 This restaurant was great! Blown over by the food, service and beautiful outdoor space! The waiters were extremely helpful and friendly. We went with a group of 5 and had a variety of dishes and courses everyone loved what they got. Tried some specials which were also amazing, calamari verde was delicious and bruschetta was perfect! The tiramisu was delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Sep 16 2021 Google 4 Ate here for the first time with my family. This is a very warm and friendly establishment as the proprietors greet their customers and made them feel welcome. It also has a regular customer base, as there were a good amount of dinners many seemed to be regulars. Offering both in door and out door dining, all covid protocols were observed by the entire staff. Started off the meal with appetizers. The Vongole Oreganate(Baked Clams) were excellent. 8 to a plate they were well seasoned and had a great sauce that added to the flavor. This was coupled with Bruschetta al Pomodoro, which is grilled Italian bread and chopped tomato salad. The bread slices, about 6 disc toasted, lacked enough garlic to give it a garlic bread type taste. Unlike traditional buschetta the bread was larger, but turned out well because the chopped tomato was excellent and tasty. I used the sauce from the baked clams to give the pairing an extra taste touch. Sadly, not all of the entrees fared well. I enjoyed the Gamberoni Parmigiano which was breaded shrimp in tomato sauce with spaghetti as the pasta side. The sauce was tasteful but could have had some more seasoning if it supposed to be a home made sauce. The next entree was a steak with gargonzola cheese sauce, which was paired with penne Alfredo as the pasta side. The steak was supposed to medium but it was over cooked and it lacked any of the juice the would be created in the pan to give it more flavor. The cheese sauce was was amply applied to the plate which made it more like a gravy rather than a sauce addition. I would recommend that they should put this as a side and allow the diner to apply the amount they would like on their plate. The last dish was Spaghetti Con Polpettine, or spaghetti and meatballs. This was the most disappointing of all of the dishes. Which should never be in any Italian restaurant. The meat balls tasted bland and lacked basic seasoning. There were no breadcrumbs in the mix and they tasted like they were a no name brand from the supermarket. Seriously Ikea's Swedish meatballs edged this out need I say more. The owners mother did say that her son, the cook made them, but they need mom back in the kitchen to add the old world flavors and touch to their cooking. Overall, this is a good place to eat. Parking was easy as they have additional parking across the street. I would suggest their son the cook, take more tips from his elders on how to finesse his food flavorings in making their meals. The menu choices are good, but could use a few more additions especially with their appetizers. I would have liked to see some garlic bread as an option. Over all it is still a good dining choice for an meal.

Sep 16 2021 Yelp 3 We were able to make a reservation to sit outside on a Sunday late afternoon.  The outdoor dining set-up is nice, under a large tent; one side is more enclosed but there were fans to circulate the air.Our waiter was just lovely, not only was he attentive, but very appeasing to my young niece who was talking his ear off every time he came by.Based on the food, I don’t know that I would return.  I wouldn’t consider the food bad, but just kind of fine.  We ordered some apps for the table; the tomato/mozzarella salad was good and standard.  The special crunchy green beans with an aioli were very tasty. I got excited about the artichoke hearts oreganata, however once I tasted them, I realized they were jarred pickled artichokes, which just didn’t work as an organata IMO.On to the entrees.  I ordered the veal parmigiana with a side of linguine with garlic and oil.  The veal was cooked well with a nice amount of mozzarella cheese.  The sauce was kind of one note....almost didn’t seem homemade.  The linguine was good, but a bit on the salty side.  The Seafood Fra Diavola, had a nice amount of seafood, but again just didn’t bring the flavors you’d expect. All in all service was quick and friendly, but the food, wasn’t up to the same standards.

Sep 1 2021 Google 1 Very disappointed with this bakery the last 2 times I've had cakes made. The first time, someone messed up the type of cake I ordered which was chocolate and was given vanilla. It even said chocolate on my copy of the slip I was given for when I picked up the cake. I was able to overlook that and gave them another chance. But this time I was shocked at the result of this cake, not only due to the color scheme but also how sloppy it looked. I had specifically asked for a cake with "tropical flowers on it". Ya know, like flowers that were green, purple, orange.. my mother in law is from a tropical island so that was the theme I was going for. My husband picked up the cake and he wasn't thrilled with it either but he did not bother to say anything when he picked up the cake because we had dinner plans for mother in laws 70th birthday. Was very upset that we had to give her a cake that looked like it was meant for a Halloween party.

Jul 19 2021 Yelp 1 This restaurant was good ten years ago,  now the food is overpriced and disgusting, we ordered baked clams and stuffed chicken,  the clams were all breadcrumbs no clams,   and the chicken  was so overcooked it wasnt edible,it was takeout so i drove back to restaurant to complain and the owner rocky,  refused to give me a refund, stating he has 50 million customers and didnt need my business, so if he is so sucessful, why does he care about 50 bucks.   AVOID RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS,
